i thought you can get the radio code with a bin #

dealer wants serial # of the radio to give me the code

any pcitures of removing the radio, its nav by the way

 

I bought my 2005 used and I found the radio code on the yellow 100& something point inspection they gave me. Mine was 45543 and Nav was 1734 I doubt if ether one will work on yours. The dealers want to charge you $50 to put it in for you and it it takes them 30 seconds to do it, but they want you to leave the car for 1 hour. Look in every book and paper you got from when you bought the car. I had a 1980 legend that I found the code under the spare tire. Good luck........
