Default vibration when accel from 60-70 and then stops

I have had my 02 Acura TL-S for 4 years and absolutely love it. recently I noticed that when I accelerate over 60 MPH, the car shakes and won't stop unless I step off the accelerator or exceed 70 MPH. I did some research and the primary issue stated was tire balance. I went ahead and took care of this. I also had my mechanic check out my car and the wheels seemed fine, axel fine and couldn't pinpoint the reason for the shaking. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

its not always the tire balance. Check your struts and springs, and possibly your control arms might be going bad.

Default It could still be the balance.....

The symptoms you report sound very much like a balance issue, but other suspension items should be checked too.

Do you know what brand of tire balancer your shop used? The best one one the market is the Hunter GSP9700. It has some magical road force balancing that is awesome. It is probably the next best option to having the tires spin balanced on the car.

Check out this web site to find a shop with their equipment near you:

my moms jeep had an issue like this, it was scary aroudn 50mph its starts shaking like an earthquake. We changed alot of things it still had the issue. Then we just got new tires, and it stopped. So i guess check your tires. Since your car is FWD the issue may lie upon your transmission or axle of some sort
