Sometime needs Radio and GPS codes
I have a 2010 TSX with a 4cl. The battery checks fine and is only 6 months old. In the last 2 months I would go into the garage and hear noise coming from behind the dash like crumpling tinfoil. As soon as you open the door, it goes away, NO NOT A RAT. also at times I get in to start it and it starts but will ask for the radio code and GPS code and the seat memory buttons need to be reprogramed. So I do that and drive it. 2 days later or a week later it needs the codes again and seat reprogramed. It always has the sound behind the dash after it sits for an hour or so. But about 3 times a month it asks for the codes.
The battery checks fine and no problems with that.
The fuses all check fine and everything seems to be working fine.
yes radio and GPS and seats all work once I program them until it asks again.
Garage kept and I am the only driver and it drives fine.
the noise is only when parked and no key in. once you open the door or unlock with key the noise stops
Nothing has been changed or added, no new radio or anything, it just started out of the blue.
I am pretty mechanical and my uncle has a repair shop so I think we might know what we are doing but we dont know this.
I have searched web and for TSB but I can not find anything.
