Default New member just aquired a 2008 Acura TL

As title states, just picked up a 2008 Acura TL, just in my driveway this evening 134k miles, Was neighbors dads car that he had in FLA but had given to granddaughter.
Excited to get into this make, as it is my first non Toyota Asian car, I had a 1st gen 1971 Celica at 17, and have a continuing relationship with a 1996 FZJ80 Landcruiser

Great shape externally but it has some interior issues, I assume from it's time in FLA and a few electrical issues I will be working through, which is how I came to get it, as battery crapped out and I told them what to try and how to test, which turned into new battery car starts and runs, says enter code on radio, but I had taken fob apart to check/replace battery so used the rubber headed key and that might be all that is, but will be checking owners manual for radio code just in case, as it seems battery changes trigger this code from my research this evening.

biggest issue is the battery terminals are as tight as they can tighten, yet are loose on the posts, and I am betting this is what killed the 2 year old Diehard Platinum battery.[ I had told the original owner[pawpaw] to get a prorate on that battery but they did not and with a new battery and running to verify charging] son says he is sure it's charging but the terminals are still not tight, and I verified the battery is 12.8 with car off, so before I dig in I will have to remedy this issue. Never seen this before. It could need an alternator but until I get these terminals sorted I won't know for sure.

Blower motor only runs on high, seems to be the blower motor resistor from web searches [had this problem on an old E46 years ago].

Dash says check tire monitor system, have not even web searched that one yet, will get the battery terminals sorted out first then the blower motor and then move on

Keyfob is pretty beat up, and didn't work, neighbor says he thought battery was dead, so I took it apart and it's a 1616. all I had for my Audi was 1620's and 2016's. but the led lights up with a 1620 in and the halves together, but it is too thick, so will get some 1616's tomorrow, and will be searching for replacement fob/key and how to pair to car as well. It was a pain to pair new keys for my MK4 GTI but hopefully I can figure out how to

do this one too.

Mechanically so far the hood struts are bad, will get those with the resistor, then go on from there, lol ....

Now the worst of it :-(
Dash is cracked really bad,, I assume from the FLA sun exposure so I am hoping I can get some kind of cover as I cant see its worth the cost of a new dash
Front seats are covered with decent covers so I assume they are split etc as the rear seat drivers side center section is split in a few places, while the passenger side rear is ok.
Sad really because the exterior is almost perfect except for a small scuff on passenger front bumper corner
Almost forgot, probably because I'm fearful this will give me the most trouble, the passenger door won't open, if you cycle the unlock button all the other doors you hear the locks moving but not the passenger door. If I lean into the passenger side the inside handle still does nothing, however if I pull up on the **** sticking out of the door I can get it to start to open, but catches and refuses to open all the way, have not done any searches on this issue yet but need to as need in passenger side to remove glovebox to replace blower resistor

Sorry for the long post, glad to be here for sure
