I bought a 2008 TL that needs some work. It was in accident, took damage on the front driver side. Nothing too crazy, just needs suspension work on the front left side. But I’m having an issue with the electrical side. It’s been having an issue with not starting. It was jumped to drive it back to my place, drove just fine, didn’t die out, no issues. Turned it off for about 15 minutes and it wouldn’t start again. Disconnected the hands free device and rebooked the battery, battery while disconnected was about 11.8v. As soon as I hooked it up it was immediately drained. Disconnected again and it started to slowly recharge itself. Don’t know if maybe a wire is shorting now after the accident? Really have no idea where to start. Thought maybe started but not sure if a starter is gonna cause an immediate drain like that without even turning the key. Any ideas? Thank you
