I have an option to trade my 1998 volvo s70 with 162K for a 96 Acura TL with 153K the acura has been in flood damage hence the salvage title. What do you think an even trade or who makes out better?

Default I have a 96TL with 113K.....

Frankly, I am not sure who makes out better in your proposed trade. Is the Volvo giving you problems?

Besides routine maintenance including oil/filter, brakes, timing belt, plugs, etc., the only things that I have had to replace on my car are a starter motor (had to disassemble LF suspension to get to it), an O2 sensor, and an alarm actuator in one of the doors. It has been a great car, but I cannot attest to how it would be with an additional 43K miles.

That sounds like a bad move. How much money do you have saved up? my guess is that you could probably find a much better car if you had like 3k + your car for trade

What was your final decision that you made on that deal...

Yes sorry about that I did not do the deal. The salvage title scared the heck out of me. So I am still looking for a good trade.
