I'm considering buyng a new 2007 TL. I've heard the TL's had tranny problems in theearly 2000 cars. Does anyone know if the tranny problems have been fixed in the newer model TL's?


Also, any overall positive or negative experiences related to your TL would be appreciated.

 

Are you talking about an automatic? I read the new 2007 TL has an improved heavy duty automatic trans. Are you looking into the 2007 TL or TL Type-S. I have a new 4 month old 2006 TL Nav, loaded. I love it! But just after I bought it, I see the new 2007 TL Type -S. Very very nice car. I just prefer my wheel design much more. What do you think? I bought a new 2006 Honda Accord EX V6 Nav. in May 06. In Aug 06 I traded it in on my New TL. BIG Difference!!! Now I want to buy a loaded TL Type S. But all the dealers want to rip me off. They want to make $5,000 on the deal. I can understand $2,500, but not $5,000. I am Jeff from northern Illinois.
