i have a 92 integra ls...ive been thinking of doing a motor swap but i cant decide on motor a want to use. ive herd the the best motor for my car is a b18c5 but i herd really good things about the k20. now i dont kno much about the k20 so im jus lookin for sum advice on wut i should do.

 

all right, first things first. stay away from the k series. although the motors do start off with good power ratings and a 6 speed tranny the conversion process would drive everyone crazy. now the b18c5 (type r motor) woulddefinatly make you crap your pants the first time you hit the gas and felt the vtec kick in, however, the money you would spend on that setup would definatly hurt your wallet as well. one of the best swaps you could do would be a jdm b16a. this swap wouldnt require and heavy modifications to the motor or tranny mounts and would almost just drop in without any problems. and its a fairly cheap swap to get also. average price is around $2-3K for a full swap. check out www.inilinefour.com for the prices.
