hey i was just wondering if anybody could tell me what to do to get my rpms down, because i have low profile tires and 17in rims, like what gears do i have to change, i got a 91 teg, with a 94 teg motor swap, original tranny, 5 speed, i crusie at 60mph at 3 grand, im really lookin to save gas, i i dont want to spend money for new smaller rims cause i like the ones i have now.

 

gear ratio is good..cruisin in 5th, 60 mph at 3 grand. sounds pretty good to me....wut motor did u put in it? b18, b20.....any idea???? ever notice wut mph ur gears top out at?....like 1st should maybe be around 20 or 30 and second maybe like 60.......sooo yaa

 

I'm not forsure, but I hear the 94ish ls trannys have a longer gear ratio then the gsr, but i don't know much about the 91's. ls tranny sits at like 2.5 at 60.
