does it spit white smoke when the engine is good and heated up or only when it's warming up? Smoke is not normal for this setup What kind of setup is this? (top end and bottom ends engine numbers) does the car leak any oil on the ground? any other problems in performance?

I thought white smoke was coolant, blue smoke was oil, and black smoke
was too rich. is that old school? is the back of your car oily or black
dry resadue?

my cars bumper is black. i have a b16 head, b18 block, LS tranny, type R pistons, type r intake manifold, and type R honda cam.
when its warmed up there is no white smoke. when im on the throttle especially VTEC, black smoke is allover the place. there is one day i was driving pretty heavy and i burned about a quart of oil " thats pretty bad. question, what fuel pressure should this setup be at? should i do a leak down test or is it normal? HELP!!!!

let me take a shot in the dark.

check the spark plugs for oil, no oil, no blow by in cylinders. is the
head leaking oil into coolant? oil passage on block not blocked or bad
gasket. too much fuel is the black smoke.

i'm not tthe one to give you a pressure setup but importtuner.com has a
power page with some info about b16 head & b18c block and mods.
part 2 has some hondata s200 info that might help you.

i checked the compression @ all 4 cylinders and all are at 200. the spark plugs are showing tthey are lean (white ends) no oil is leaking at the head gasket but dirt and debree i around that area. shows that everythng wrong is internal

take it from someone who has had thier share of integras, if you run them hard they will use oil. they always have. even the rsx uses oil when run hard. i guess poor oil ring design or something. i have re ringed many and it stopped temporarily. type r integras were the worst
