Hey everyone it has been a while since I have been on but, I have an oil leak problem on my 91 LS non vtec. And I am not not sure on what it would cost me in parts to repair (I do all my own work). I noticed the leak originally comming from the valve cover gasket, soI replaced that. now I am seeing oil around the front lower left corner bolt on the head butI don't know how to get that bolt out due to the tranny being in the way. I guess my questions are do I need to loosen the tranny from the block to get to that bolt and also recommendations once i get the head bolts out on what would be the tools to use to pull the head off of the block.


Also I am able to move the black plastic seal looking thing on the left side of he valve cover. what do you recomend to keeping that plastic seal from coming out more than it already does.Edited by: nosaj81_2004
