Oxygen sensors can go bad and cause RSX's to run really rich. Worth getting checked before gas prices go through the roof again.

hmmm idle is a bit low in park you should be at 600-650.

driving there is no set idle speed.

but if you pull it into gear and hold the car from moving with the breaks your idle should only drop 25-50 rpm.

in gear idle 575-625

your at 400. tells me that, the timing is not correct.

is the pcv system plugged? if its capped or plugged it will effect idle.

Hi Thanks for all the help.

I've been monitoring the gas milage for a awhile and in the last 2 fill ups I have been getting from 8.5-10 L for every 100 K. Not bad.

Still not sure what caused the bad milage before the last two fill ups. One of the things I noticed was that I was having an electrical problem with my door locks at the same time as the having the bad milage. After the power door locks were fixed, the car seemed to get a better milage.

Could an electrical problem such as faulty door locks cause this? Personally it does not make sense that this could have cause the issue but it is to much of a coincidence.
