Just got car back from the shop after it got totaled. Car drives fine and runs
strong, but at stop signs and randomly my car dies and takes a couple of
minutes to start up again. Turns over fine just won't kick. Please help me out
here. Thanks.

 

You might not be getting spark or fuel. Check you plug wires, plugs, fuel lines and filter(s). Or, just bring it back to the place where you got it fixed at and tell them what is going on and they should be able to tell you whats going on with your car.

 

Ya It has to be between the fuel and the ignition. Someone told me that it
could be my O2 sensor or my gas cap? What should I check first? Thanks

 

your O2 sensor and your gas cap have nothing to do with your car not getting fuel or spark. a lot of it is something as simplwe as a fuel filter just going bad.
