I have a 2006 TL with stock stereo with navigation. My trunk dvd is dead as well as screen.
Since the stock navigation is pretty much obsolete with smart phones these days, can i replace the dash radio and display with the 2006 radio + info display and center vent display from the non-navigation 2006 TL. In other words will the wiring harness that is in the car work with both systems?

I can get the dash and simple display for less that $100. Presently the navigation screen does not work so i can not work any stereo or clock controls.

I installed a non navigation display so I can use radio. Works good as it should. I also purchased a clock display that is above the dash register. The wire hook ups are different between the navigation and non navigation to dash (clock) register display.

I have the 4 pin plug from the donor (clock) car. My question is do you know it I can use any of the non used 10 pin connector wires to tap into the 4 pin connector for the non navigation clock display which is part of the dash register?
