Default 2004 TL water coming through pillar air bag area

Bought this car and know nothing about it. Took it through a car wash, quickly noticed a significant leak on the drivers side, windshield pillar where it says 'ABS'. Surely this isn't the first TL to have this problem. Is there a fix? What would cause the problem?

Also, last night my wife was cleaning up the interior and the alarm started going off. Unfortunately, I didn't get a fab with the car. It was like a chinese fire drill. I ended up disconnecting the neg cable from the battery. As you probably know, now the stereo wants a code entered. I don't have the code, as it was purchased from a car lot. Is it located somewhere (hidden) like VW does? Is there a workaround or am I screwed?

Thanks a million!!
Robin
