I have a question for all you RSX owners

I have been going through a bunch of oil, and when I took my car in to the dealer they told me that it's "normal" that ALL RSX's do it (not sure if they just meant the Type S, but whatever)

They told me that it was okay if they car burned up to a quart and a half of oil between each oil change. Now instinct tells me thats wrong, but hey, what do i know? does this happen to you guys too? am I freaked out about nothing?
