Hello,
I am looking for some advice on my 2021 RDX. I took it through the car wash today like usual, put it in neutral and enjoyed the ride. Next thing I know my dash lights lit up like a Christmas tree and the warnings to contact my dealer just kept cycling through. There was 9 of them in total. Emissions system problem, brake system problem, adaptive cruise control problem, etc. Any idea what could have caused this? Is there anything I can do to resolve this? I called the dealer and they said perhaps too much water got in the intake. They advised me to take it for a drive and park it in the heated garage. So far that has not worked.
Definitely dealership. Maybe something is shorting by incoming water. This is not at all like having to disable the few sensors that go off because of the carwash.
You mention "I took it through the car wash today like usual" so this isn't the first time. Does the 2019 have car wash mode? This is a sequence of steps to put the vehicle into Neutral. Perhaps check the manual. Also, while you went through on the conveyor, do you think you disconnected the seatbelt for any reason?
