I know this is probabaly not the place for this but it looks as though it is viewed regularly. Long story short, I need to have a new engine put in my 03 RSX. It will cost approximately $5800 to get a used engine w/around 1,000 miles on it. The next best option for used would only save me a few hundred dollars but the engine would have over 100,000 miles. I still owe 4,000 on the my Acura and the Kelley Book Price is between $8300 - 9100. I'm between a rock and a hard place and don't know what to do. At this point, I would just love to tell the Acura dealer to give me $1000 and them put the engine and sell it out right, but I don't think they are going to take it off my hands let alone pay me to do so. Any suggestions and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
