The chances of three separate
thermostats being faulty are extremely remote. We
suggest verifying the in-dash temperature gauge using a
temporary thermometer in the acura integra radiator. It is possible
that in-between thermostat changes, your car lost a
small amount of coolant, either externally or internally
from the engine which would cause the temperature gauge
to fluctuate.

If by some chance a head gasket has started a leak or if a head has
cracked, it can cause exhaust gas to excape into the coolent
system.

This will displace the coolent and cause a over heat.

It usually will take 20-40 min to do so.

I would go to a trusted shop (or 2) and have a combustable leak test performed on the radiator.

Lets just hope its a air pocket within the system.

But the test should only take 30min tops.

If you were in Fort Collins Colorado i would do it for you for free.
