well a fun thing to do is removing the hood cable from its stock location.

making (non stock) and that alone will deture a few

another fun thing is leave the hood level in place (no cable hooked to
it) then hook the horns to it so when the cable is pulled the horn
sounds.

my gen 1 legend got a eletric trunk popper kit installed onto the hood
cable. so you push a button under the dash to open my hood. (the
batt is in the trunk so if i need a jump you dont go under the hood
anyway)

Personally I like the VIPER 791hv... That keyless entry/ remote start / alarm system is outstanding. The alarm on that system not only connects to your door triggers and hatch release, but it also has a hood pin wire. If your car alarm is not deactivated and your hood is lifted up the liquid metal on the pin will ground the wire and by doing so - it will sett your alarm on. The system is pretty expensive (around $500), but if you know anyone that works in best buy - they should be able to get it for $178

Hope this helps, Kyle.
