Hi I have a 90 integra (non abs) with a brake problem it is my caliper on the driver side makes a clicking noise, the noise stops when i press down on the brake pedal. It seems like it is stuck on the disc. The disc moves but not as freely as the other side. It even creates a vibration in the steering wheel . I put new discs and pads on it. I even tried a junk caliper. The junk caliper was froze on there too but way worse. Please help

have you tried jacking up that side and spinning the wheel by hand, and trying to make sure that it is the brakes, and not a half shaft or something?

yes I have jacked it up and spun the wheel, and have narrowed down the problem to either a bad line or a bad master cylinder.

Ok Looks like my master cylinder piston is stuck not enough to lock on but just enough to be annoying. I ordered the mastercylinder off ebay and am going to put it on as soon as it comes in. hopefully it works if not I ll have to try putting on a brand new caliper. I will keep you posted on my discovery of the solution.

2 more things to look at befor buying stuff

ABS pump may have a valve stuck....if it was a master cylinder it should effect both wheels on the same axle.

hopefully it is a soft break line that is the problem.

I have seen a soft line crack on the inside and creat a flap that
prevents low pressure from returning to the mastercylinder

causing a drag on the caliper.

Also look to see if a hard line is pinched.

Rule of thumb on soft lines...if its cracked on the outside even if its ittybitty replace it
