Hi i am new here!
i have an 03 acura 1.7el, the a few days ago i was driving out of town stopped to put gas in and than drove another 30 kms than went for lunch upon returning went to start it had a hard time took like 20 minutes , it would start thatn it would shake and stall it started than drove 300 kms to home stopped than went to start and its doing the same thing and i cant get it in to my mechanic till the end of the week it shakes like crazy than stalls even when i give it gas, like itsa bad plug or something and it backfires a bit too , i hear a small pop and sometimes alot of white smoke cause i hammer it to the floor to keep it running but thatn rpms die down or when i put it in gear it stalls?..and there is no engine light on either? Run some engine cleaner through your system. Marvals Mystery Oil is pretty great stuff. If you hear some whining it could be your fuel pump going out... 1990 BMW Auto Repair Mechanic Hillsboro ORegon

yes, taken care of...fiance put damn diesel in it!....don't even ask me how she got the damn nozzle to fit?...lol..lucky no damage to it

Help with lights? Electrical prob
Hi has anyone else have this problem on their 2003 acura 1.7 el,, just noticed it yesterday, no reverse lights or taillights (BUT ONLY THE ONES ON THE TRUNK LID) and no license plate lights either? and trunk cargo light is turns off if I turn lights on? its like there is no power to anything on trunk lid, except the brake light on the spoiler, im thinking maybe it has something to do with the little electrical box on the underside or rear deck lid in between rear speakers in trunk area that has a harness to plug in to it? Has anyone else ever had this problem? My power trunk wont work with the clicker either only by hand/ Any help would be so very apprecaited it very much.
