when i start the motor it revs to 5000 rpm.


the engine hasent been sarted in 10 months until today


i put a fuel rail on the car and chipped it whith headers


but i remouved the chip thinking that was the problem

 

A 5k start up rpm...yike...

I would look into a:

stuck open idle control circuit.

Stuck throttle cable.

Unplugged wires

Huge vacume leaks.

Corrosion on ground wires my give false voltage to sensors and trick the computer.

Also check if the engine has codes or a service engine soon light.

but try not to start it if that 5k is still happening...oil pressure
isnt there yet and with out it you can have serious engine damage.
