have a 91 legend and want to put the type 2 motor in. does anybody know ifthe c32a type 1 motors cpu and trans are compatable or will they also need to be changed?

massive differences between the engine harness and computer.

unless you like rewiring the world dont do it.

a type 2 can be converted to a type 1 if the manifolds and intake are swapped but a type 1 can not be converted to a type 2. (old motors are missing sensor castings) .
