Default '97 Acura CL 3.0 engine revving in P/N

Hello all. I'm driving a 1997 Acura CL 3.0. Some time ago, out of the blue mind you, the engine would rev up while I was in park or neutral. It would only occur once the car had warmed up for a few minutes and did fine when in gear, and holding the brake down. At first, it began revving up to about 3000 RPMs but I replaced the idle control which brought it down to about a 1500 RPM rev.

Is there anything else I could check or fix to rid myself of the rev?

Thanks.

You may have a faulti Throttle Position Sensor or a Fuel Pressure Regulator that is not working properly...

Hehe sorry I was in a hurry when I posted so I just threw it out there really quick. :P

But thanks a ton for the reply man, I'll have to have those two things checked out and hopefully get down to the problem.
