I have a 1993 Acura Legend and I smashed the front. I bought an aftermarket Duraflex Cyber bumper to replace the OEM one. However the shop gave me an estimate of $1250, which I don't want to pay. Also Duraflex didn't send me an installation manual. Any help?

 

I guess you could take an auto body repair class at your local vocational school?

Jeez man, that's like saying, "The motherboard on my computer failed and I don't want to pay a computer repairman to fix it. And Hewlett Packard didn't give me instructions on how to fix the motherboard. Any help?"

 

Duraflex bumpers come pretty roughly shaped, but it's definitely not brain surgery.

You need to youtube some bondo how-to video's, dremeling video's, and look up some DIY's on how to remove/install the stock bumper. That will give you an idea of how the stock bumper mounts. Then, with the stock bumper off, line up the fiberglass bumper and hold it up in a way that you are satisfied with. Mark the mounting holes (that the stock bumpers use) and mark any additional holes that you may probably need.

Once satisfied, take the bumper off again and just have a bodyshop paint it.
