I was just at my local Acura Dealer discussing with the parts manager the new Audi R8 and how it would be great if Acura ever developed such a luxury super sportscar.


His Reply: THEY ARE! Acura within the next 24-30 months will announce a new super luxury, 4-wheel drive sportscar that takes the best of the RL and the best of the NSX mid-engine design and marry them into a sportcar to compete head to head with the Porshe 911 and Audi R 8.


As neither the RL sales are doing well and the NSX is done in it's present form, Acura is making plans to produce a combination luxury sports car that is larger than the NSX but utilizes all the luxury and technological components of the RL.

take a look on tha acura website for the details but the new sports concept design looks nasty... 10 CYLINDERS!!!

the sedan looks cool too... kinda like cadillac meets the batmobile is what i pictured...
