hey i have a 98 2.3 cl, i just changed the map sensor because it would bog so bad it would start but now the idle varies between 2000 and 1200 rpms in park and neutral. any ideas what it could be?

If it's going up and down between 1000 and 1500 rpm, you have an idle air control valve sticking. replace it and make sure you bleed the cooling system of air after that.
