Hi, Im new here....I own a 97 acura 3.0cl v6 2 door. My check engine light has been on for awhile, everyone I've taken it too fixes it temporarily and then it comes back on within a couple of days. I need to get emissions done so i took to auto zone they said its the EGR valve. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced their own EGR Valve is it very difficult or is it something my dad and I can do. Whats the process of it all>?? Where is it located exactly? Help please!!!!!!!!!!!

should be pretty easy to do.

2 bolts hold it on.

located next to the throttle body on the front cylinder head.

make sure to clean all the old gasket off befor installing the new one.

also look at the air passages once removed. make sure there not clogged.
