Trying to install a Sub And Amp

Its in a 1997 3.5RL with the NON CD player head unit, and was wondering if i need a new head unit to be able to wire a sub and amp or can i run straight from the original?

Most likely you'll have to buy an aftermarket head unit with amp hookups in the back. Some factory head units have them, but not many. Just look to see, if not, buy one.
