Problem/Symptom: Pinging noise is heard under acceleration, between 3,000 to 4,000 RPM. It is intermittent, and has no relevance of fuel's octane level or brand of fuel. It does not matter if you have A/C on or off. The symptom could occur during cruising condition as well, again, intermittently.

I posted this issue approx month or so ago, and have since received quite a few feedbacks. It seems the TSX owners and/or Techs in Australia have isolated the problem to be residing in Torque Converter. That, pinging noise is not actually ignition detonation noise, but a noise orginating from the Torque Converter.

Has anyone in the U.S. have come up with same or similar conclusion? If so, what if any, were the solution(s) for this problem?

Thank you all in advance for your participation and replies.
