2004 nav system
Hi Everyone -
I bought a certified 2004 tsx this past june and I couldn't be happier with the car! I have only one question though. From time to time, maybe once or twice a month, when I start my car the navi system freezes. The touch screen does not respond, nor does the joystick/button. Everything else (thermostat and climate control, stereo, windows, radio, wipers, heated seats, clock, and of course the transmission and engine) still functions as it should but I have nothing on my navi screen except the warning/nag screen. One peculiarity - if I press the right (passenger) side button I can pull up the audio adjustment screen and make adjustments using the radio controls but not the touch screen.
This happens pretty rarely but often enough to cause concern. I did get the extended warranty with the car and plan on telling the dealer when I take it in for an oil change (which will be soon) but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this in their TSX. It certainly sounds like something is broken, but I want to know as much as possible before going to the dealer.
Thanks!!
