I have stock 15" alloy wheels on my 96 TL.



I would like to know if anyone has found a perfectly fitting 5 spoke wheel from newer Acura models - that look better.



like maybe

- OR -

04-06 TSX 17X7" wheels,



I know many Acura wheels from other model cars have the same 5X4.5" bolt pattern, and technically </font>will </font>"fit" on my car,

HOWEVER,

If the offset is different, or there are other slight but important
differences, problems can arise later on, like wearing out wheel
bearings too soon, etc.



I talked to one guy who put on 17"X8" wheels from an 04 TL - it LOOKED
great - but after a few thousand miles began to develop bad problems
because the wheels were just too different from the original specs.

So... feedback on any successful swaps you may have done would be APPRECIATED. thanks much!</font>

 

Hi Member..I'm one of the new mods and I have wheel experience so I will try to help you here. 1st thing here is to establish your wheels on your Tl which are 15" with a bolt pattern of 4 holes by 115mm.


I will post you some wheels that are up grades of the Acura cars in your 4 hole bolt pattern if your still interested, if you are Please post me an answer and we will pursue the questions...Too bad you dont have the 5 bolt pattern because this is where all the fine looking Acura wheels are [img]smileys/smiley14.gif[/img]for instance see below wheel whichis a 5 lug!
