O2 Sensors

How difficult is it for the average joe to replace the O2 sensors on a 04 TL??
The estimate from the dealership was $400, I've been told that the part cost about $50 and it simply screws in with a special wrench. The real question is, how hard is it to get to and do you have to take things apart to get to it?

no its not to bad but do yoursefl a favor dont buy the cheepest 1 out there.buy the 85-100 one. and how many sensors were they talking about replacing. im pretty sure there is 4 on your car.
also if you have a A/F sensor and not oxygen sensors on the pre catt position you may be spending 400 each on em.
Now thing that can go bad often do. i have seen senders rust so hard to the manifold that they strip and destroy the pipe.
also have seen the nut on them strip and they just dont come out.
that wrench costs about 55 bucks. for a good 1 and a NOT good 1 will strip out that nut.
