Can anyone tell me how to reset the maintenance reminder?

It's in the owners manual, but I recall that it's pretty simple. Something like holding down the &lt;&gt; button when its displaying the message or something simple like that.

Try this:
1. Turn off the engine.<br tag="new line">2. Press and hold the select and reset buttons on the instument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON (II)<br tag="new line">3. Hold the buttons for approx. ten seconds until the indicator resets.
