Fix or sell?

Fix or sell?
I have a '03 TLS with 120k miles. Hit a deer that left me needing a new/repaired front quarter panel. Also, I have numerous dings from doors, carts, hail, and there are a bunch of spots where the paint was eaten through because of acidic bird crap, etc. Basically the body looks pretty crappy all over.
Also, its about time to get the timing belt replaced which I think is around a $1000 job.
The inside is flawless, and it runs great. I'm torn between getting rid of it or driving it into the ground. I'd be looking at spending $3-4k to get the body damage fixed, quality re-paint, and scheduled maintenance.
I'm not really sure what kind of resale value it even has in the shape its in, and if it looked nicer I'd gladly drive it another 100k miles.
I'm also afraid that the transmission will go again, I got it replaced at 70k in 2007, and I can't tell if the new transmission is a "fixed" type or not, if they ever really fixed the fatal flaw.
Thoughts?
