I
have a 2004 TL. I have been told not to use any chemicals when cleaning
the dash board, so I use a damp rag only. Well the dash is all ashey,
gray looking instead of black. I live in a hot climate , what should I
use to clean my dash so I looks black and nice again??? Is it leather
or some man made material?? Help.

It's a vinyl dash, and the best thing I have found is just good ol' Armor All or a similar product, you can find at the auto parts store.

Cindy---Vinylex
Little more expensive lot more performance.

I'd wash the area first with mild solution of Woolite; which is actually a good product for doing the entire interior.

armourAll works best i believe. I always use it when washing cars arounf the neighborhood, and i end up getting tips because of a great job. and was it the dealership that told you not to use chemicals on the dash? i never heard of that before, especially considering armourAll is made for things like this

well, im pretty new here, so i guess im not a reliable source, but i have been washing cars in my neighborhood for four years, and never once a bad comment about my job. I only started using armourall about a year ago though, but still nothing negative. there's no TL on my block though, so i cant really speak for this stuff
