2011 ACURA TL

So my girlfriend took the Acura through the carwash at the shell gas station.. while the car was getting washed, the car began to honk ruthlessly wouldnt shut the hell up.. long story short, when the try to put the car in any gear the car honks untill you take your finger off the shifter button?? can anybody please help? i feel like its some kind of security issue its a push button with a key fob battery in key fob is pretty much brand new
