Hello. I decided that I’m gonna go to DIY process on these in order to prepare for stage one tune, I did the differential, transfer case and the transmission, but I am struggling with the transmission, I was being an idiot and didn’t fully read that I need to read the transmission fluid temperatures instead of engine coolant temperatures because I saw online just get the car up to operating temperature, after doing that I did the check valve level check and a about 1.25 quart of fluid came out after I put about 6 quarts in, after burning my hand, trying to put that check valve bolt back in I gave up for the day, came back the next day and got the car to operating temperature for the transmission using a code scanner in the car would now no longer switch out a sport manual gear one, I am assuming I’m going to have to put more fluid back in, but is there going to need to be a transmission relearn?

As for the transmission not shifting into sport mode, that could indeed be related to the fluid level. If the fluid is low, it can affect the transmission's performance. Once you add the appropriate amount of fluid, you might need to perform a transmission relearn procedure. This helps the transmission adapt to any changes and can improve shifting behavior. It’s definitely worth checking your vehicle’s manual or forums for specific steps on that process. Good luck with your tune!
