So my son has a 2012 TL with Nav and all of a sudden his stereo would no longer put out any sound. The stereo appears to be on, the display is on and shows channel info but no sound comes out of the speakers. We took it to the dealership and they diagnosed it as a bad amplifier. Now, I did some research on this before I took it to the dealership and I knew the 'power amplifier' fuse kept blowing so I was prepared to hear that. My question here is, where is this amp located and if anyone has any helpful advise on replacing it I would certainly take it. The dealer want's $1400+ to replace it and that's just not gonna work for me. Thanks in advance for any help and let me know if I need to clarify anything.
