I recently purchased an 04 TL. I noticed after buying the car that it hasa couple quirks. Maybe someone else has seen this.

The car has navigation and the backlights on the temperature controls(both sides) and a few other heat and air controls are not working. At least 7 lights are out.

Also, the car has something strange going on with the headlights. Occasionally, when the lights are switched off then on again, only one headlight will turn on. I can even switch it off and on a couple times and still only one headlight. Then it will just come back on after starting the car or turning the lights on again.

Anyone see anything like this???

i have seen it in the older hondas

most times its a bad bulb. with a broken filament shorting agains the other.

one time it was a poor connection at the fuse and required replacing the fusebox.(it was back feeding power to the lights from other sourses)

some times it has been the headlight swith its self.

Thanks. I agree it's a good idea to try a new bulb on the headlight before going any further.

Anyone seen problems similar on the interior lighting? With so many lights out I'm wondering if it is the controller board that is having problems.
