I have a 2004 Acura TL and I've had it for almost a year (I bought it used at 27k miles) which now has 41k miles. anyways, because of the hotness in Atlanta and my car has been sitting in the sun it cracked my dashboard on the passenger side right on top of the airbag. I was wondering has anyone else experienced this before and what did you do?

Default Dashboard

Hey Miss Theory I have an 04 TL i bought with 31k miles and now has 38k miles since i bought the car i have noticed the outline of the airbag is in plain sight and a little bumpy around that but mine has not actually cracked CRACKED meaning the materials actually split.. I mean its not 100% noticible at night and stuff unless you stare at it.. I am pretty sure that there is no fix for the problem except to replace the whole dashboard. which is like 1000.00 unfortunatly.... I have already asked around let me know if this helps ..

You didn't hear this from me... but that is a common problem in the Acura TL's. AND It is something they will fix under warranty!

There is a fix for the cloudy, dry dash... (I dont know what it is exactly) But your dealer should be able to point you in the right direction.
