2003 Type S Cold air intake question

Is it worth getting a cold air intake? my definition of being 'worth' it would be an 8-10 horsepower gain..... am i wasting my time or should i go for it?

It's worth it if you plan on getting headers and an exhaust as well. It will help it breath easier and you'll gain brobaly around 15 hp. For this car the best choice for horsepower is headers.
