i recently purchaced an 04 tl with auto trans pre owned cert with 32k mi. car is great but i noticed when i am on even a slight incline or decline the car rolls back or forward when shifting into drive or reverse. is this NORMAL?

 

I recently bought an 04 as well and I have noticed the same thing.
