Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in? Step in and let's talk about it...

I have a 2000 TL, and I only want to drop the front 1.5 inches. Are there any problems with replacing only the front springs? Do any manufacturers sell only the front pair? I have a 1.5 inch rear fender gap and a 3" front fender gap.Edited by: Dave DC

This idea would throw your suspensions ability to track correctly + you wouldnt be able to keep your car in alignment either..If your stillgoing to do this anyways (because it would look cool) then buy a set of 4 springs and just dont use the rear ones:

just wondering if you did get the lowering done and how it handles now.

if you had to use a camber/caster kit???

what kit did you use?

Naw, don't have the money right now, but still thinking of doing it. I plan to go with H&R, they say their springs work with existing stock shocks.

have you considered having 1 coil cut from each front spring?

if it works then you dont have to buy springs...

if it doesnt. well you were gonna buy some anyway?
