Your '04 battery died!!?? On an Acura yet!!?? I have been attempting to purchase an RSX (need to dump my domestic pile first) largely due to the alleged reliability!! My '00 Oldsmobile battery is original!!

You need to reset your system disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds. Then get your Radio code out and punch it in at the numbers. If you do not have the code you will need to pull the radio and get theserial number and call the dealer to get your code. GOOD LUCK!!!

Okay I had the same problem with my radio. I unplugged my battery to change a headlight and it reset my radio then I called my Acura dealer and they told me that it would cost 90$ to get the serial number from the back and call Acura. So i called the company and they told me a way to get the serial number without having to take out the cd player and just give that to my dealer to get the code. The dealer then told me that the 90 bucks wasnt for taking out the unit it was that Acura charges them for getting the code when they call in! Does anybody know how I can get around going to the dealership?

i would check with regional offices, and complain...it is ridiculous that the dealerships are gouging people just to punch in a short code...

Um.. I have a 2002 Rsx Type-S ... when I got my Injen Cold Air Intake installed, They had to move the battery. So when I got the car back my deck said "Enter Code" so I was like wtf.. so I drove to my dealership and the dude comes out and shows me... If you open your glove compartment it's on the outside of the left panel. A sticker with the 4 digit code needed to unlock your specific bose(rsx-s) soundsystem. When you open your glove compartment you should be able to see it from the driver side. If not ... maybe it was only with my car? I dunno.. Hopefully this helps someone!

After disconnecting my battery I also had the radio lock up. I got a working radio code here:
