I just bought a 2001 RL and I love the feeling of owning a piece of moving art. IT HAS 169000 ON THE DASH!! I know this is a bit of miles on this acura, but the car moves! it flies! The car cranks and feels solid every time i crank it, but still I worry.A couple of my lights are on....check engine, srs, vsa, abs, damnnnn!! shouldI take the big guy to honda, or ACURA! I love this car and I wanna keep it. My last car was a 93 legend(256700 miles) and iI crashed two years ago racing a bmw on the E-way.I love honda. My question is...Will the ACURA dealership service my car or will i have to go to CAR X. I want my AC to last forever. SOMEBODY HELP MY RL PLEASE.

Honestly most of the lights could just be sensors going back.. I would eitherinvest ina tester and look u the DTC codes, or bring it to acura Specialist even tho its a"honda"you might have to go to an acura dealer if you go to a dealer, but keep in mind dealers are $$$$ much more then a simple Japtech typelocation.

Going back to the sensor,if thats all it is you can either ignore the lights or go about getting them replaced Good Luck.

What you can also do is, go to an autozone and tell then that you have a check engine light on and that you need the car to be scanned.
. They will scan it for FREE and give you a print out of what they found.
