My heat only gets hot when idle high either driving or in park. I changed the coolant and thermostat and it did not help. I used the air bleeder to remove air. My old coolant was very clean but I have not ruled out a poorly circulating radiator. Can it be a heater core problem? Heat is fine when driving on highway or high idle. Please help, it's getting cold.

i wonder if the fan blades on your water pump are worn?

does your engine suffer neer over heating issues at idle or slow engine speeds?

I am not overheating at all. I changed the coolant, it was clean no gook. I don't think the core is clogged. The fans work fine. I am going to bleed the air today. Also, the linkage on the flow to the heater seams to be working fine. I have 55k miles< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";
