Turned off the car. Went into the house. Came back out. Ignition locked. Doesn't recognize remote. Follow procedure in manual. Unlock ignition using built-in key. Ignition unlocked. Recognizes key as driver one. Turn ignition to Start III. Everything looks normal. Cranks but will not start.Footnote on page 263 of manual says "if improperly coded key is used, the fuel system will be disabled." This is where I think I am. How do I get out of this? (I've tried using the spare remote. The result is the same.)

I have a 05 RL as well. I have not had this problem yet. It should be covered by warranty. Have the dealer tow !
