I just bought a 2005 RL with 100,000 miles on it. I noticed about a day after there was a metallic squealing noise coming from the passenger side front wheel well. I thought it may have been a brake pad or disk problem and I was painting my calipers as well as sanding down the edges of the disks to prevent squeaking brakes when braking, this didn’t solve the problem. It’s constant it happens wether I’m turning, accelerating, coasting or braking. I thought it could’ve been a wheel bering going bad but it isn’t a grumble nor is my wheel shaky while jacked up. Some help with this would be much appreciated I’d rather not take it to a mechanic who would just guess and cost me money, I can post a video of the sound later if that will help.
